About

Given the routine life we lead, the never ending working hours, and the busy concrete life surrounding us; one tends to stare out into the horizon dream of adventure, a wake up call. But what is adventure?

“If a lone wolf lifts his plaintive call into the moonlight near your campsite, you might call that adventure. While you’re sweating like a horse on a climb over a 12,000 foot pass, that could be adventure. When howling head winds press your lips against your teeth, you face a mighty struggle. When your pack grows heavy on your shoulders as your climb a 14,000 foot peak, you feel the adventure. When you suffer freezing temperatures and 20 inches of fresh powder on a hut to hut trip in the Rockies, that could be called adventure. But that’s not what makes an adventure. It’s your willingness to conquer it, and to present yourself at the doorstep of nature. That creates the experience. No more greater joy can come from life than to live inside a moment of adventure. It is the uncommon wilderness experience that gives your life expectation.”

I have always found escape in the great outdoors, for I am an addict, an adrenaline junkie. In love with nature and outdoor adventures though I am no expert or professional athlete.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
– Mark Twain

My idea of fun is hanging out with friends and exploring new places while enjoying the sun, the sea, the desert, and the rocky mountains. From basketball to scuba diving, from offroading to wake boarding, all it takes to make me happy is the rush, experiencing new things, places and great company with like-minded folks.

My blog will give you a glimpse of my life as I try to explore the beautiful country we call home, and start my hunt for fun activities and exciting outdoor in UAE, Oman, and beyond. Sharing my experience with other and look forward to others sharing their experience with me, exchange tips, recommendations, locations, activities etc.

Note I am no expert blogger either, my blog is as good as the comments and feedback you share. Looking forward to sharing my life with you and hoping to meet like-minded folks along the way sharing the same passion. Carpe diem!

  1. Hi,

I really like what you have to say here. Your words express adventure and exploration in a way that I can definitely connect to. I would like you to be apart of my adventure team. A lot of these same values and beliefs you write about can be found in my clothing brand I have been working on called “Davy Submarine”. I have been searching all over the web to try and find someone that represents what “Davy” means and came across your profile on Instagram and really liked your ideas. I want to try and send you some shirts in order for you to represent “Davy” while out on your journey. If you have a second you can check out my website: http://www.davysubmarine.com to see what it’s all about. It might be a little difficult to mail shirts to you since you are always on the go but I think its worth a try. Let me know if you are interested. Again great work and I look forward to hearing about more journeys to come, even if we can’t get this shirt thing to work out.

    Thanks for your time.
